Partner Highlight: Cathedral of Hope

In honor of 30 years, AAI is recognizing partner agencies that are also doing great work in the community. The success of one is done in partnership with others. This month, the partner highlight is Cathedral of Hope.

"Founded in and serving beyond the LGBTQ community, Cathedral of Hope’s mission is to reclaim Christianity as a faith of extravagant grace, radical inclusion and relentless compassion.

The vision of Cathedral of Hope is to be a community of hope proclaiming God’s inclusive love, removing barriers to faith and empowering all people to grow in grace toward wholeness.

This is Cathedral of Hope’s (MeeMaw Walkers) second year of being a partner agency with LifeWalk. Money raised through LifeWalk benefits CoH’s Evelyn Pruitt AIDS Crisis Fund. This fund is utilized as a net to provide resources to clients when the other local agencies may not be able to serve in a certain capacity, and refer them to Cathedral of Hope. The AIDS Crisis Fund has become an integral part of the whole system of local agencies that serve people with HIV/AIDS.

This was also Cathedral of Hope’s second year as partnering with AIDS Arms in their annual school supply drive. In these last 2 years we have served in collecting school supplies for over 250 students who are clients of AIDS Arms." -Cathedral of Hope Staff
